Biological age tests, and what a blood panel can tell you
Your chronological age is the number of birthdays you have had. Biological age is the idea that bodies age at different rates. Two people of the same age can have very different blood results, energy levels and disease risk.
Some tests give you a single biological age score, based on epigenetic clocks (patterns of DNA methylation) or telomere length. These are newer methods, and different tests can give different answers. The Anti-Aging Hormone Package does not give you a biological age score.
What it does is look at markers linked to health and longevity that change with age and that you can act on: hormones, nutrients, blood glucose control, cholesterol, inflammation, and liver and kidney function. Each biomarker points to something specific you can work on. For most people, that is more useful than a single number.

Anti-Aging Hormone Package
105 testsFor women and men
What is tested
- Hormones: testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, IGF-1 (a growth factor) and cortisol
- Nutrients: vitamin B12, vitamin D3, folate, calcium and iron
- Metabolic markers: HbA1c, cholesterol and insulin resistance
- Inflammation and organ health: hsCRP, liver function and kidney function
Includes a one-to-one report review with our dietitian team and an InBody body-composition scan.
Looking for a smaller hormone profile? See our hormone tests for men, women and after menopause.
Five blood biomarker areas worth checking as you age
Here are five areas the package looks at, and what each one tells you:
- Hormones. Testosterone, estrogen and progesterone shift with age, through perimenopause, menopause and andropause. IGF-1 is a growth factor, and cortisol is a stress hormone.
- Metabolic health. HbA1c reflects your average blood glucose over about three months. Insulin resistance can develop years before blood sugar rises. Both relate to your risk of type 2 diabetes.
- Cardiovascular risk. Cholesterol is one of the main markers of heart and blood vessel health.
- Inflammation. hsCRP picks up low-grade inflammation, which is linked to cardiovascular risk.
- Nutrients and organ function. Vitamin B12, vitamin D3, folate, calcium and iron, plus liver function and kidney function. Vitamin D and B12 deficiencies are common in Malaysia.
Your InBody body-composition scan adds muscle and body fat to the picture. Muscle mass tends to fall with age, and it is something you can work on.
This package is a good fit if you
- Feel tired most of the time, even after rest
- Struggle with mood swings, belly fat or mental clarity
- Are entering perimenopause, menopause or andropause
- Want to look after healthy ageing, skin health and performance
From lab tests to an actionable plan
You don’t just get numbers. You get answers. Our dietitians walk you through your results in plain language. You will know what each result means and which ones need attention.
Reference ranges vary between laboratories. A marker just outside the range is not a diagnosis, so we look at the pattern across your blood results, your symptoms and your history.
Then we create a personalised action plan rooted in nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle changes. Many markers, such as HbA1c, cholesterol and vitamin D, can respond to diet and lifestyle changes, so we also tell you what to re-test and when.
We are a dietitian-led screening clinic and do not prescribe hormones. If a result needs a doctor, we say so and refer you.

What does the Anti-Aging Hormone Package test?
It covers hormones (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, IGF-1 and cortisol), nutrients (vitamin B12, vitamin D3, folate, calcium and iron), metabolic markers (HbA1c, cholesterol and insulin resistance) and inflammation and organ health (hsCRP, liver and kidney function).
Can a blood test reveal my biological age?
Some tests give a biological age score, but methods differ and can give different answers. Our package does not give a biological age score. It measures specific markers you can understand and act on.
What is the difference between biological age and chronological age?
Chronological age is your age in years. Biological age is an estimate of how your body is ageing, from the cellular level up, and it can be higher or lower than your chronological age.
How accurate are biological age tests?
They are still developing. Epigenetic clocks, telomere tests and blood-based age scores measure different things, so results can differ between tests. A single age score also does not tell you what to change, which is why we focus on individual markers.
How is this different from a standard blood test?
It puts a hormone panel (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, IGF-1 and cortisol) alongside nutrient, metabolic, inflammation and organ markers. It is still a simple blood test, done in one visit, with an InBody scan and a one-to-one review.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
Fast for 8–12 hours (plain water is fine), and avoid alcohol and hard exercise the day before. Tell us about any medicines or supplements you take.
Can lifestyle changes improve my results?
Many markers, such as HbA1c, cholesterol and vitamin D, can respond to diet and lifestyle changes. Your plan focuses on the things you can change.
How often should I repeat the test?
It depends on your results. Your dietitian tells you what to re-test and when.
Who explains my results?
Our dietitians walk you through your results in plain language, then build a personalised plan around nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle.
